Schwartz/Nagel Intersection Closing Sept. 3 until December

If the Schwartz/Nagel intersection in Avon is in your plans for the next several months, heed the warning: It will be closed.

"The Schwartz Nagel intersection project is on schedule," Avon City Engineer Rob Knopf said in a press release. "We will be entering the intersection of Schwartz/ Nagel Road starting Tuesday, Sept. 3."

The intersection will be completely closed down from that point until December 2013 or when it is deemed safe to allow for thru traffic.

The only traffic allowed within the construction zone will be residents who live in the construction zone, school buses and service vehicles. No one else will be allowed through.

If there are any questions, please see the onsite inspector, Jim Elkin, or contact the City Engineer, Robert Knopf, at 440-934-7520 or rknopf@cityofavon.com.
