Slate Set For November Elections, 7 File for 3 School Board Seats

Filing with the Board of Elections closed Aug. 10

Avon Lake’s candidate field for the Nov. 8 election is set. Aug. 10 was the final day for potential candidates to file with the Lorain County Board of Elections.  

Three of the races are contested. Three candidates have filed for the mayoral race, two for the Ward 1 council seat and seven candidates will run for three Avon Lake School Board seats.
