State Rep. Matt Lundy: Support Issue 2 and LCCC's University Partnership

Lorain County voters will decide on Issue 2 in the November General Election.

Editor's note: State Rep. Matt Lundy submitted the following letter regarding Lorain County Community College's upcoming levy, Issue 2, a 2.1-mill 10-year renewal with increase levy to support the Lorain County Community College University Partnership program.

To the Editor:

As a proud graduate of Lorain County Community College, I believe I would not have a four-year degree today, had I not started my education on the affordable path provided by LCCC. LCCC has made an affordable education possible for so many of us over the decades.

We need to work together to support Issue 2. This investment is needed to keep our college strong for high school students getting an early start on their college education, for residents returning to school to update their skills and for those who work hard to earn a four-year degree through the LCCC University Partnership.

Good jobs require a college education. LCCC continues to keep a college degree affordable for our children and our families. Let’s work together to support Issue 2.
