2011 Avon Lake Scholarships Awarded

students earned 85 scholarships on May 19, at the 2011 Senior Scholarship Night hosted by the Avon Lake Board of Education, Avon Lake’s District Office, Avon Lake High School Administration and high school counselors.

These "common scholarships" are open to any Avon Lake High School senior to apply for and are generally awarded by local organizations or individuals who are honoring others. 

Family and scholarship recipients gathered in the Performing Arts Center in a ceremony that announced scholarship winners from local organizations. The scholarships were open to all high school students. (Scholarships awarded from individual colleges and universities are not included.)

The following students were awarded scholarships this year. Several students earned more than one award. More than $70,000 in scholarships were awarded.
