Avon Early Childhood PTA Welcomes Members

The Avon Early Childhood PTA (AECPTA) kick off meeting will be held Tuesday, Sept. 11 at 7 p.m. in the

New members are always welcome. The AECPTA will provide free onsite babysitting for members during the meeting for members. General meetings are held the second Tuesday of every month (September-May) at 7 p.m.

“We currently have 175 members and we became a PTA in 2007,” leader Christy Shula said. “It was a Parents’ Club before.

The club has a variety of events throughout the year from field trips to Kids’ Parties and Mom’s Night Out activities.

Two upcoming activities include the AECPTA Fall Fundraiser on Saturday Oct. 13, 2012 from 7 p.m. – 9 p.m. at Bullfrog's Sports Cafe in North Ridgeville for
$20 per person (adults only). Contact fundraiser@avonecpta.org to order presale-only tickets.

The  Fall Kid’s Kloset is Saturday, Sept. 29 from 7 a.m. to noon at Avon High School. Cost is $5 until 9 a.m. and then $2. (Table space is sold out.)

Meetings

Can’t make September's meeting? The next meeting will be Tuesday, Oct. 9 at 7 p.m. p.m at . The guest speaker will be Avon Local Schools Superintendent, Michael Laub, with the AECPTA Preschool information night immediately following. 

The November meeting will be held on Tuesday, Nov. 13 at 7 p.m. at Heritage North Library with the annual vendor’s night immediately following.

AECPTA is a family organization providing educational and social activities for parents, caregivers, and children from birth through Kindergarten in Avon and the surrounding communities. 

AECPTA offers members an abundance of entertaining and educational monthly activities as well as special events throughout the year.  Members enjoy new friendships, community involvement and enriching experiences for you and your family.
