Avon High School's homecoming celebration is already in gear. All the cool kids will be sporting leg warmers, biker shorts and headbands for '80s Workout Attire Day on Wednesday.
The Homecoming Parade starts at 6:30 p.m. Thursday at the high school. The parade will travel down Detroit Road to Avon Middle School on Stoney Ridge. A pep rally will take place after the parade followed by a junior vs. senior girls Powder Puff Football game at the stadium.
The homecoming game vs. The Bay Rockets is Friday. The homecoming kind and queen will be crowned before the game. This year's court consists of freshmen Garett Choat and Melissa Kollman; sophomores Jacob Kules and Hannah Eisman; juniors Ryan Steinmetz and Megan Harris; and seniors Mark Kvach and Sam Catanza, Chris Pulice and Leah Sauer, Mike Pulice and Nicole Chabot, Tim Huss and Griffen Koelsch, Jack Poyle and Angela Lucarelli.

On Saturday the Homecoming Cirque de Avon Dance will begin at 7 p.m. at the high school. Tickets are $15.
