Carl Sadowski Heading to Rochester Institute of Technology

Avon native has worked at NASA Glenn Research Center

Carl Sadowski of Avon will be attending Rochester Institute of Technology this fall, his parents announced, adding that he is receiving a Presidential Scholarship from the school.

Sadowski, who had been homeschooled, is the son of Dennis Sadowski and Christine Ignasiak of Avon.

He intends to major in applied networking and system administration.

Sadowski also earned the Myron and Elinor Kolbe Scholarship, which is administered by the Community Foundation of Lorain County, a Polonia Foundation of Ohio scholarship, and a Moses Hill scholarship from the Cleveland Chapter of the Ohio Credit Union League.

Sadowski has worked as a paid intern at NASA Glenn Research Center, and has done volunteer work refurbishing computers for non-profit organizations.
