Look: The Avon High School Homecoming Parade
Busloads and truckloads of students toss candy to eager kids along route. Football tonight!
On an overcast Thursday evening, Avon High School staged its homecoming parade with the requisite firetruck sirens, convertible top cars, truckloads and busloads of students tossing candy to bystanders, some floats and, of course, the marching band.
The parade was short and sweet – there was the junior vs. senior girls powder puff football game to be settled, after all.
Homecoming continues today for the 3-1 Eagles with the big game vs. the Bay Rockets. Then on Saturday there's the Homecoming Cirque de Avon Dance, which will begin at 7 p.m. at the high school. Tickets are $15.
