Avon Lake’s Michael Parsons Finds a Reason to Celebrate
Parsons is a rare student-athlete who earned 12 varsity letters while at Avon Lake High School.
senior and three-sport athlete (cross country, swimming and track) Michael Parsons, family and friends had a lot to celebrate May 24 as he signed a NCAA Division I letter of intent committing to University of North Carolina – Wilmington.
Parsons, sitting center in a blue UNC-W shirt at the May 24 press conference, signed the letter in front of family, friends and school officials.
