OSU Cheerleading Camp Coming to Avon
The Ohio State University coaches will be in Avon January 21 to hold its first off-site Cheerleading Clinic in the greater Cleveland area.
Anyone age 12+ at all skill levels is invited to attend the one-day event and can register online at http://www.tumblesandcheers.net
Do you want to learn what it takes to be a collegiate cheerleader? Then plan on attending the first Ohio State University Cheerleading Clinic offered in Northeast Ohio. The clinic is 10 a.m. - 4 p.m., and is hosted by Tumbles & Cheers in Avon, home of the World-ranked Ohio Extreme All Star Cheerleaders. The Clinic is open to anyone age 12 and older of all skill levels for a cost of $60.

Tumbles & Cheers is located at 1502 Lear Industrial Parkway #3 (across from Petitti Garden Center).

Eddie Hollins, assistant cheerleading coach at The Ohio State University, said each year approximately 100 girls and 30 guys show up for the university's cheerleading tryouts; Only 50 are accepted (20 girls and 20 guys for the Varsity team and 10 for the Jr. Varsity team).
