'Homeruns for Hunger' Supports CRS

June 23 baseball game will feature Lake Erie Crushers against Traverse City Beach Bums

(CRS) is hosting the the 3rd Annual “Homeruns For Hunger” event on Thursday, June 23 at All-Pro Freight Stadium in Avon.

will take on the Traverse City Beach Bums. The baseball game starts at 7:05 p.m.

CRS is a local non-profit agency dedicated to meeting the social service needs of the Avon and Avon Lake communities.

Ticket vouchers are $9 each and for every voucher sold, the Crushers will donate $3 to CRS. By purchasing vouchers through CRS you will be supporting our food pantry and other emergency assistance programs which directly assist Avon and Avon Lake residents.

 Visit CRS’ website at www.aalcrs.org to purchase vouchers by credit card or print off the order form and mail your payment to the CRS office.

Ticket vouchers can be redeemed for game tickets at the Lake Erie Crushers Box Office (call 934-3636 for box office hours). CRS will also be accepting donations of paper products (toilet paper, paper towels, etc.) at the gate. For more information call Pam at 440-933-5639.
