Kellen Kulbacki Helps Lift Crushers to 15-5 Win over Washington

Crushers score 11 runs in seventh to beat Wild Things

The sent 17 batters to the plate in the seventh inning, scoring 11 runs, and went on to beat the Washington Wild Things, 15-5, Sunday night in Washington, Pa.

Washington pitching helped enormously. The Crushers only got three hits in the seventh, the team reported, but benefited from eight walks in the inning. Washington pitchers gave up 13 walks on the night, and the defense made three errors.

Kellen Kulbacki had four hits, three runs scored and two RBI to lead the Crushers. Patrick Norris had two hits and drove in two runs. Brian Erie had a hit, two RBI, and scored two runs.

Paul Daniels (4-1, 2.23 earned run average) pitched an inning of relief, giving up no runs and one hit. Travis Risser pitched three innings to get his fourth save.

The Crushers (27-30) take on the Wild Things at 6:35 p.m. Monday. Randy Sturgill (3-0, 3.54) is slated to start for the Crushers.
