Crusher lose on late rally by Joliet Slammers
More than 2,000 fans showed up on a cool Friday night at for the home opener against the Joliet Slammers.
The Crushers took an early 4-2 lead, but two home runs by Joliet's Erik Lis and a late rally by the Slammers led to the Crushers losing, 7-4.
But it's only May, there's plenty of baseball left to play, and there was a fireworks show after the game, so fans were not bereft.
