Shoremen Keep Olmsted Falls on Short Leash in Basketball Win

The Shoremen pulled ahead in the second quarter to win against the Bulldogs 54-49.

The Avon Lake High Shoremen had a fairly even start in the Feb. 15 boys basketball game against the Olmsted Falls Bulldogs.

According to cleveland.com, Avon Lake scored 13 points in the first quarter and stayed strong scoring 16 points in the second, compared to Olmsted Falls' 11 and 9 points, respectively. The Shoremen continued their hard play after halftime, making the final score 54-49.

The Shoremen continue their season on Feb. 19 against the Strongsville Mustangs.
