If you live in the Avon-Avon Lake area, you’d be hard pressed not to find something to do this weekend. We would almost call this the busiest weekend of the year.

: The new 40,000-sq.-ft. hospice opens this weekend with events that include a community open house from 1 to 4 p.m. on Saturday, June 23. Free.
Free Concert in - Sunday, June 24 at Miller Road Park, bring a blanket or chair and enjoy a free concert by the Dynamic Duo, who will perform Motown songs. Concerts are from 6:30 p.m. - 8:30 p.m. in the lakfront gazebo. Free.
