March Madness

Sitting here watching the bees come and go knowing snow is expected tomorrow. I would consider this an authentic March madness!  But they are alive! I plan to leave them alone for a few weeks. They have more than enough food and plenty of room for the next couple of weeks to build up.  By then, the weather should be consistent and I can make a bigger dent of rearranging their quarters.

Itching to clean up the yard though. Fighting the fever!  Want to clean out all the garden beds, cut back the plants that had been feeding the birds with their seeds all winter, and just plain give everything a major sprucing!  I’ll need to do some serious dividing this year and will be looking for people to give the plants to….all indigenous perennial plants.

I had my grandaughter these last few days.  I’ve included a picture of her watching the birds.  She helped feed them and the squirrels then sat and watch as they had their own little back yard party. Oh…and I found a snowbell today!  Spring is coming indeed!
