The Avon and and donned different uniforms on Saturday night, with pink accessories, all for a good cause.
Safety forces from both cities played in the third annual at All-Pro Freight Stadium. The softball game featured members from the four departments playing to raise funds to fight breast cancer.
Proceeds from the event go to Fairview Hospital Breast Health Center and the Gathering Place.
Families, friends and both communities came out to support the event, despite a steady rain most of the evening.
The rain-shortened game ended with the Avon police and fire departments defeating their Avon Lake brethren, 20-8.
Fans who braved the elements were rewarded with a fireworks show after the game.
