It’s Friday, no cooking necessary! Feb. 17 is the annual chili dinner, a joint fundraiser with the ALHS Key Club, complete with desserts and beverages, all for $6. The event runs from 5 p.m. - 7:30 p.m. at the Avon Lake High School Commons. Tickets are available at the door. The chili is prepared by Novotny Catering.
Oliver, the Musical is continuing this weekend. "Consider Yourself" invited to MGP's 53rd production of Oliver, the Musical. The reviews have been excellent! The cast of 86 is being directed by Avon Lake attorney Douglas Brill and produced by Lynn Maslinski and Fiona Walker and performed at the Daniel B. Ross performing arts center on Feb. 17 and 18 at 7:30 p.m. and on Feb. 12 at 2 p.m. Tickets purchased in advance are only $10 and $15 for adults and $13 dollars for children and seniors at the door. Presale tickets can be purchased from any cast member, Rio Coffee Brewery, Hartsel's Automotive, or online at www.ticketspigot.com.
The North Olmsted varsity boys basketball team will travel to Avon Lake to play the Shoremen on their home court. Tip off is at 7:30 p.m. Cost is $3. At Avon Lake High School.

Here kitty, kitty! Come see some of the wonderful, adorable cats and kittens Love-A-Stray has available for adoption at Great Northern’s PetSmart in North Olmsted, starting at noon on Sunday, Feb. 19. If you see one you want, you can start the adoption process right there with Love-A-Stray volunteers ready to help. All cats and kittens are spayed/neutered, current on vaccines, have been dewormed and had flea protection.
