The holidays are coming and you want to look your best, right?

You can get a haircut and help others by going to , either in or , during November and bringing two non-perishable food items.

Catanza is teaming with Chicks Against Hunger for a food drive to benefit Second Harvest Food Bank of North Central Ohio. Bring in two or more non-perishable food items and get $2 off your haircut.

The most-needed items are: cereal, canned tuna, canned soup, canned beef stew, peanut butter and canned vegetables.

In 2010, 37 million people in the United States, that's one in eight of us, received food assistance through the Feeding America network. In the area served by Second Harvest Food Bank of North Central Ohio, one in six people have received emergency food assistance through it or one of its member agencies.

Forty percent of those being fed by food banks are children. Feeding America reports that one in four children in Ohio are on the brink of hunger.
