Love-A-Stray Cat Piper Will Warm Your Heart

Tabby overcame frostbite and will soon be ready for adoption.

It was a great weekend for Love-A-Stray at its in North Olmsted, as ten cats brought there were adopted.

Let's keep that winning streak going by finding a home for Piper!

Piper, estimated to be about 18 months old, was rescued from a drainage ditch after being thrown from a car. He got frostbite on his paws, tail and ears from staying in the frigid water of a drainage ditch because he was so frightened.

Piper's ears are now rounded after the frozen tips were removed. About an inch and a half of his tail will be coming off soon as well. But he's quickly recovered his playful, affectionate nature at the Love-A-Stray shelter. He loves being held and petted, and really likes to play. My camera strap was his favorite toy while he was being taped.
