Sunday, Sept. 29, 7:30 a.m. at Avon Lake High School. The Kiwanis will be holding its bi-annual pancake breakfast to raise funds for scholarships. Sausage, juice and unlimited pancakes. Meet your neighbors for this popular event. House Concert for Lucy Wainwright Roche
Wednesday, Sept. 25 6 p.m. House concert in Avon featuring NYC-based singer-songwriter Lucy Wainwright Roche. Lucy comes from a very talented family of singer-songwriters, including dad Loudon Wainwright III, mom Suzzy Roche, and siblings Rufus Wainwright and Martha Wainwright. Lucy has a beautiful, pure voice, and an endearing stage presence. This is a great opportunity to hear an up-and-coming talent right here in our community. Join us at 6 p.m. for some light food and drinks. Show will start at 7 p.m. and end no later than 9 p.m. $20 suggested donation - all proceeds go to the artist.
