Band-A-Rama: The 49th Annual Band-A-Rama is Saturday, Sept. 14 at Avon Lake Memorial Stadium starting at 7 p.m. Cost is $5 at the gate, rain or shine. Event features eight high school bands including the Marching Shoremen.

Art and Soul Festival in Lakewood: The Good Day Moon Gallery and the Reiki Room are hosting their inaugural street festival Saturday, featuring local artists, food from the Root Café and Lucky Dogs food truck, as well as street performers, live music, face painting, St. Helen's Unicycle Team, Something DaDa Improv, hula-hooping, Olmstead Performing Arts Dance Troop, Silhouette Acrobatics, and more. All proceeds benefit the Trinity Lakewood Community Outreach.

Infinity Athletics Boosters First Annual Chicken BBQ and Pie Eating Contest: Pie-eating contests, dunk tanks and Midtown Band are part of the activities for this non-profit’s afternoon of fun. On Sunday, Sept. 15. Click on the link for all the details. 

 Third Annual Crocker Park Wine Festival: The Crocker Park Wine Festival will take place on Friday, September 13 from 4-10 and Saturday, Sept. 14 from 2 p.m -10 p.m.  A benefit for health related charities in Cuyahoga County and beyond, the event is held on the beautiful grounds of Crocker Park and is sponsored by Westlake Giant Eagle and Adams Reserve NY Extra Sharp Cheddar. Coffee House and Open Mic: Sept. 14, 7 p.m. Prince of Peace Lutheran Church in Westlake is holding an open mic event in the lower fellowship hall at the church. The church has a sound system, keyboard, drum kit, and amps for guitars.  We also set up tables in a "coffee house" setting and offer baked goods and some great coffee.
