My boyfriend and I visited Dr. Novak this summer. It had been many years since either of us had been to an eye doctor. We finally got insurance coverage for vision and decided to get a check up. I found Dr. Novak while reading up on the French Creek District of Avon a while back because I wanted to discover what types of businesses were available there.
As soon as we walked in, I felt very comfortable. The atmosphere is calm and inviting. The office is tastefully decorated and comfortable. The office staff at the desk was very polite and helpful.
Dr. Novak was a great doctor. I am hesitant with doctors in general, but I really enjoyed my experience with Dr. Novak. He is a nice, personable man which made it easy to speak with him regarding my eye health and concerns. I also love that this office has recent technology to check the health of my eyes. It takes a lot of hassle and stress off of going to the eye doctor.
The coolest part of the visit was probably the camera that takes photos of the inside of your eye ball. I mean, you really can't get any cooler than that.
If you are looking for an Ophthalmologist, Dr. Novak is your go to man!

Dr Novak and Dr, Bader are very down to earth people and their office is warm and friendly, from the coffee pot brewing to the updated magazines on the counter. The technology that Dr Novak used on me was thoroughly explained and I was able to ask questions-even dumb ones. My eyesight is in good hands with Avon Eyedesign-they are competitive with the big chains stores and I feel much more comfortable knowing who is working on my vision. I also like to support local businesses who support my community and Avon Eyedesign are big civic boosters from Lions Club to little league teams! Very worth checking out .
