The park is primarily used by walkers, joggers and bikers and features one long, paved path.
Russell Lynch, an Avon Lake Kiwanian who passed away in 2004, proposed the idea of adding 50 Buckeye trees for the "Buckeye Trail" in a nod to Ohio's official state tree. The park also has a small pavilion.
