Alice M. Klima (nee Low), 81, of Avon Lake, formerly of Cleveland, passed away, Friday, Oct. 28, 2011 at Bradley Bay Health Center, Bay Village following a brief illness. Born on April 17, 1930 in Cleveland, Alice had lived in Avon Lake since 1968. A long career as a clerk began as a bank teller in Cleveland and then at Aldens Catalog Store. She worked for more than 20 years at Fisher Big Wheel and then Faroh's Candy in Avon Lake. For the last 10 years she had worked at the Avon Lake Animal Clinic as a receptionist for the grooming salon and then Paws by the Lake Doggy Day Care. Alice was still working until her illness.
