Juveniles allegedly destroy gun.
An air gun can damage. And that’s what it did to an 11-year-old boy on Sept. 8. The boy was running to a friend’s house when who ran by 3 other boys on Conrad Street, who told him to “keep running” and allegedly shot him just below his left eye. The skin under the eye was broken and the area bruised. When the mother went to one of the juveniles she believed was involved, she said they did not seem to care about what had happened. One of the juveniles admitted to police it was his gun and another boy had shot the victim in the face. They also said the gun was destroyed. Avon Police intended to follow up with the shooter this week.
