CRS Charity Ball is Premier Avon, Avon Lake Society Event

24th Annual Charity Ball is Jan. 26.

Community Resource Services (CRS) is hosting its 24th Annual Charity Ball, “Seasons of Caring” presented by Medical Mutual and NRG (formerly GenOn) on Jan. 26 at LaCentre in Westlake. The black-tie optional event is one of Avon and Avon Lake’s premier society events of the year. Last year the Charity Ball was attended by 330 guests and raised more than $56,000. Funds raised allow CRS to continue its mission of diminishing the effects of poverty in Avon and Avon Lake. The Charity Ball features cocktails, hors d’oeuvres, a sit-down dinner and dessert.  After dinner guests will enjoy dancing to live music by the band Midtown. Charity Ball Raises Thousands for CRS: Viewfinder

Almost 300 turn out for black-tie optional affair in Westlake.

More than 300 people attended the CRS Charity Ball Jan. 28 at La Centre in Westlake, raising tens of thousands of dollars for the organization that supports Avon and Avon Lake. Peter & Co. Jewelers has donated a Hearts On Fire pendant, valued at $3,990, to the ball, and several "big items" were auctioned off in an auction including a week in a condo, center court seats to the Cavs and a progressive dinner. Guests were able to bid on a number of silent auctions including a "Battle of the Baskets" that was won by the Avon Lake Patch. The night also included cash sideboards, an iPad sideboard, and a wine pull sponsored by Heidelberg Distributors and Constellation Wines. All proceeds benefit CRS, a responsive, community-based organization …

$3,990 Diamond Hearts On Fire Pendant Donated to Charity Ball

You don’t have to attend this week’s 23rd Annual Community Resource Center (CRS) Charity Ball for a change to win some serious bling. Peter & Co. Jewelers has donated a Hearts On Fire pendant, valued at $3,990, to this Saturday’s Jan. 28 ball. The Hearts On Fire pendant will be raffled off during the event, although raffle tickets, at $20 each or 3 for $50, can be bought ahead of time. Buckeye Bash Tickets Available at Door Saturday Night

$25 gets you food, beer, wine and front row seats on the big screen TVs.

Avon/Avon Lake Community Resource Services' Buckeye Bash is Saturday night, and tickets for the event are available at the door for this annual Ohio State football party. The 3rd Annual Buckeye Bash Fundraising Event, hosted by Montrose Kia, begins at 7 p.m. on Oct. 8. CRS, dedicated to meeting the social service needs of the Avon and Avon Lake communities, has turned watching an Ohio State football game into an event an annual tradition. This year, the Buckeye Bash will feature give-aways, raffles, football squares and more, all while watching the OSU Buckeyes take on the Nebraska Cornhuskers on big screen TV’s throughout the Kia showroom. The event raised close to $50,000 which will help people in need in Avon and Avon Lake. One of the highlights of the event was a silent auction filled with spectacular items ranging from Lady Gaga tickets to vacation lodging in Myrtle Beach and Orlando to a hot air balloon ride. More than 130 auction items snapped up by guests

The annual signature event for Avon / Avon Lake Community Resource Services  the CRS Charity Ball, raised just shy of $50,000 that will assist residents in Avon and Avon Lake.  The ball, held at LaCentre Conference and Banquet Facility in Westlake, drew 277 guests to the black-tie optional event, organizer Pam Ohradzansky said. More than 130 items were auctioned off, ranging from spa gift certificates to tickets to the Cavaliers,  Lake Erie Monsters, a Lady Gaga concert and the Lake Erie Crushers, to dinner with Matt Underwood or Ron Jantz, vacation getaways and target practice. Tickets on sale for the CRS Ball, the ‘Social Event of the Year’

The 22nd Annual CRS Ball, held again at La Centre in Westlake, again promises to be the social event of year. Avon / Avon Lake CRS' (Community Resource Services) annual black-tie optional ball is Jan. 29 and will include cocktails, hors d'oeuvres and dinner.  And while the organization's signature event promises to provide a night of entertainment with a stunning array of items in the live and silent auctions, event coordinator Pam Ohradzansky said the evening will also benefit plenty of others in Avon and Avon Lake.
