Carol A. Balser (nee Wallace), 63 of Sheffield Lake went home to be with the Lord surrounded by family and friends at Mercy Hospital in Lorain on Nov. 20, 2012.Carol was born in Cleveland on July 25, 1949. She was a professional secretary and published author and worked for the American Cancer Society in Elyria and First Lutheran Church for many years. Carol also volunteered with God Care Ministry at Good Samaritan Nursing Home. She was the Sunday school superintendent at the Church of God of Prophecy in Brecksville, taught for 13 years at Christian Heritage Assembly of God in Avon teaching Rainbows and Daisies in the Missionette program.
