Annual performance with Avon Lake High School Chorale is open to the public.
It just wouldn’t be the holiday season without the Cleveland Pops Orchestra coming to Avon Lake. The Avon/Avon Lake Rotary Club is sponsoring “Joy to the World,” a holiday concert performance by the Pops featuring the Avon Lake High School Chorale at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 8 at the Daniel B. Ross, Ph.D. Performing Arts Center at Avon Lake High School. The concert regularly draws a full house, with about 700 attending last year’s concert. Last year, Rotary Club member Tom Brock said the students really look forward to this event every year. “This is definitely a big-time platform for them,” said Brock, who is also co-chair of the event.
