Pass In Review Author Visit Clyde Cocke, Avon Lake resident and 1977 West Point graduate will be sharing his first work of nonfiction, Pass in Review, a behind-the-scenes look at the United States Military Academy, during a free program, Tuesday, Oct. 2 at 7 p.m. at the Avon Branch Library. He will show photos, talk about West Point and the Long Gray Line and share his personal experiences with book publishing. Knitting and Crochet Club at its next meeting, Friday, Sept. 14 at 11 a.m. at the Avon Branch Library. Join this community group of knitters and crocheters on the first and second Friday of each month. Beginners and those with experience are all welcome to bring a current yarn project to work on, share ideas and help each other learn the basics or something new. Author, Avon Lake resident and West Point graduate, Clyde Cocke will talk about his debut non-fiction book, Pass in Review on Tuesday, April 24 at 7 p.m. Pass in Review is a behind-the-scenes look at the United States Military Academy, exemplified by its motto of Duty, Honor, Country. Learn about the men and women who make up the Long Gray Line, myths of the Academy and the evolution of the cadet experience.
