Dimitri L. LaZaroff, 87 of Avon Lake, formerly of Rochester Hills, MI passed away on Nov. 27, 2012 at Metro Health Medical Center. Dimitri was born in Detroit on July 6, 1925. He was a WWII Veteran where he served with the Army Air Corp as a pilot. Dimitri was a self-employed photographer and business owner of LaZaroff Photography. He earned his Master of Photography from the Professional Photographers of America and was a national photographic competition judge. He was honored with many state and national awards and was twice named Photographer of the Year in Michigan.
