Dolores Babyak (nee Gorni) of Avon, passed away peacefully in her sleep after a brief illness on Dec. 23, 2012. She was born in Bridgeville, PA and later lived in Burgettstown, PA, where she graduated from high school. Dolores then moved to Cleveland with her family where she met Harry Babyak. The couple married in 1943. Dolores worked for General Electric and White Motors from where she eventually retired as a secretary. She was a longtime active member of Holy Trinity Parish and their Ladies Guild, she enjoyed gardening, exercising and baking and was known to have made the best lemon meringue pie.
