Eugene C. Andrews, age 87, of Avon Lake, died on Dec. 3, after a long illness. He was born on Dec. 23, 1924. He was the beloved son of Frank and Katherine (both deceased); loving brother of Gerry Walter and the following deceased: Virginia Kopf, Marie Kopf, Francis, Charles Leroy and Lawrence Andrews; dear uncle and great-uncle. U.S. Navy Veteran of World War II. Visitation is Sunday, Dec. 9 from 2 p.m. – 6 p.m. at Busch Funeral Home, Avon Lake. Prayer service Monday, Dec. 10 at 9:15 a.m. with a Mass of Christian Burial at St. Joseph's Catholic Church, 32929 Lake Road, Avon Lake at 10 a.m. Information provided by Busch Funeral Home.
