Superintendent of School Bob Scott welcomes the return of students to class Aug. 22.
Editor's note: The following is a welcome back message from Avon Lake Superintendent Bob Scott. Look for new Avon Superintendent Michael Laub's column tomorrow. Avon returns Aug. 23. "It was fun," he said as he posed with his mom, Terrilynn, who came to pick him up after school. Did you take first-day-of-school pictures or do something special to commemorate the day? Share it here either with a photo or in the comments!
