Theresa M. Horwedel, (nee Forthofer) 84, of Avon Lake, passed away, Saturday, November 24, 2012 at home in the company of her loving family. She was a lifelong resident of Avon and Avon Lake. The wife of the late Lester "Bud" Horwedel of Avon Lake and daughter of Sophia (Oster) and Jacob Forthofer, she was one of eight brothers and sisters. Her parents were the forefather pioneers in the early settlement of Avon. She is preceded in death by siblings Ralph Forthofer-Elyria, Ollie Forthofer-Avon, Dorothy Forthofer-Avon, Rosella (Forthofer) Walker and granddaughter Megan McGinnis.
