Sale will help fund mission trip to Italy
What do winter coats, old blenders and used books have in common? They could all help send eight members of Providence Church to Rome in July on a missionary trip. The church held an indoor garage sale on Thursday, offering deals on everything from vintage furniture to jewelry. Church members donated the goods for sale. Jenny Bzdafka, wife of senior paster Jim Bzdafka and a leader in the children's ministry, was in charge of the sale. The sale is to help fund the travel expenses for the eight people going, including Jenny Bzdafka and two of the couple's grown children. They are going from July 7 to 21. Avon's annual Aunt Teak and Uncle Junque sale is coming up this weekend, and shoppers from all over Ohio -- and maybe beyond -- will be descending upon Avon looking for a bargain.
