Event Raises Almost $60,000 For CRS
Diamond necklace nets $6,000 to help area's needy.
Community Resource Services 23rd Annual CRS Charity Ball brought in $57,000 for the organization, a 14 percent increase over last year's event. CRS spokesperson Pam Ohradzansky, who helped organize the event held Jan. 28 at La Centre in Westlake said 318 guests attended. The event featured a sit down dinner, open bar and live music from the band, Midtown and featured live and silent auctions, raffles, sideboards and a successful "Wine Pull" sponsored by Heidelberg Distributing Company and Constellation Wines.
