Nautical Lanes Hosting Tournament Championships
Lorain Bowling Association championships are coming up
The Lorain Bowling Association annual tournaments are coming to Nautical Lanes in Avon Lake and will feature a few regulars of the Avon Lake bowling alley. Stop in to Spevock's Nautical Lanes the weekend’s of Feb. 11and 18 and witness more than 200 of Lorain Counties best bowlers including many area Avon Lake residents competing for this year’s tournament championship. The annual LBA tournaments rotate from bowling center to bowling center on an annual basis and have not been back in Avon Lake for seven years. Next week, the tournament will return to Avon Lake. The annual 800 tournament, held Jan. 15 was won by Joe Gummo who bowls at Nautical Lanes on Thursday nights. The 700 tournament just completed January 28, 2012 saw Nautical Lanes …
