Nominations Sought for Citizen, Project of the Year
Avon Lake Community Council will take nominations through March 15.
The Avon Lake Community Council is accepting nominations for the Citizen of the Year and Project of the Year awards for 2012. The Citizen of the Year nominee must be a resident of Avon Lake and should have provided a significant amount of volunteer work to the community. The Project of the Year can be any service, school, city or citizen project that made a significant contribution to the community. In 2012, Linda Moyse was honored as the 2011 Citizen of the Year for her longtime service to Avon Lake, including her help with homecoming festivals and helping pass the pool levy.
