Rosella Amelia Gornall (nee Gubeno), 96 of Avon Lake, formerly of Sheffield Village, passed away peacefully at home on Sept. 12, 2012. Rosella was born on Nov. 15, 1915 in Sheffield Village, where she and her family resided on the family farm until moving to Avon Lake in 1990. She was a graduate of Brookside High School where she was an outstanding student and member of the basketball team. She enjoyed cooking, reading, politics and was an avid fan of the Cleveland Cavaliers. Most of all, she enjoyed spending time with her family. She is survived by her children, Linda Watson (Jerry) of DeSoto, TX, Robert Gornallof Avon Lake, and Janet Gornall (Lynn) of Avon Lake; eight grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
