Avon, Avon Lake Dance Teams Performing at Showcase
Tuesday event will feature numerous local dance teams.
The Avon Lake Dance Team second annual showcase is at 6 p.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 26 and will include teams from Northeast Ohio, including Avon. The showcase, held at the Avon Lake High School main gym, is the largest fundraiser for the Avon Lake High School Dance Team. The Dance Team is considered a club therefore must raise all funds on its own for uniforms, music and choreography. “Myself along with my sister Tyra Taylor, both Avon Lake residents, took over three years ago as co-advisors,” Tru Pace said. “Our vision has been to grow the team to be as excellent and respected as other activities at the high school and to offer an outlet for dancers at the high school level.
