Police Blotter: Skateboarding in Skivvies?
The following arrest information was supplied by the Avon police department. It does not indicate a conviction.
Someone called Avon police just before 6 p.m on May 31, claiming kids were at the Skate Park skateboarding in their underwear. Police checked it out and found everyone had either shorts or pants on. Go Out and Smash It Some teens in a Pontiac LeMans were seen throwing something at a road sign on Long Road as they were heading towards Stoney Ridge around 3:45 p.m. on June 1. Police found the remnants of what looked to be a ceramic art project near the sign. Is someone not happy with their art grade? Not Cool A patron at the French Creek YMCA got a talking-to from police after leaving his dog in his car with the windows rolled up the evening of May 31. Temperatures were in the high 80s that day.
