Costco Takes on Avon Police and Fire Departments for Charity
Softball game being played to benefit UH Rainbow Babies & Children's Hospital.
Costco Wholesale in Avon will be hosting and playing in a charity softball game against Avon’s fire and police departments at All Pro Freight Stadium at 7 p.m. Sept 29. General admission tickets are $5 each and parking is $1. All proceeds benefit Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals at University Hospitals Rainbow Babies & Children’s Hospital. Jim Smith, mayor of Avon, along with Mark Keen, Avon Costco Wholesale General Manager, will be throwing out the first pitches. The Avon store is the first Costco Wholesale nationwide to hold a charity softball game to benefit its local Children’s Miracle Network hospital.
