Police find mother, daughter dead after conducting a welfare check July 26
The Lorain County Coroner has ruled that mother and daughter Marcia and Linda Waugaman of Harvey Boulevard died of natural causes, but Marcia had been dead for almost three months inside the family home before being discovered, and her daughter several weeks. Dawn Quarick of the Lorain County Coroner’s office said Marcia's date of death was listed as April 26. She was 85. “That’s the closest date we can determine,” Quarick said. Linda’s date of death was determined to be July 10. The police discovered both women inside the home after conducting a welfare check on July 26.
