World Continues, Tweeters Have the Last Laugh
We've compiled some of the best #doomsday and #rapture tweets as the end of the world approached.
And here we are on Sunday. No #rapture. No #doomsday. No end of the world. And in New York, some poor fool is out $140,000 (or is up $2 million in free book advertising) his entire life savings, on doomsday signs. We're thinking this doomsday wasn't particularly well thought out by planners. Although "6 p.m." was the designated time of the rapture, it wasn't really clarified if that was EST, Mountain Time or Australian Time, the latter of which is always one day ahead. In Avon Lake most of us preferred to celebrate what can only be described as a perfectly beautiful day.
