Area Snowmen Keeping Cool: Avon, Avon Lake Additions

Back-to-back snowfalls, including a minor-league blizzard, means plenty of snow on the ground for making snowmen. Mark Tomanek and Kristen Giardino, both of Avon Lake, were busy making this massive 9-foot tall (so far) snowman on the corner of Lear Road and Grove Street in Avon Lake, making it one of the largest built this season. The pair said they began making it on Friday. Other snowmen have now been added, including an Avon Eagle. Do you have a picture worthy snowman?
