Do you have anything constructive to add to the debate, or just this kind of idiotic (and fairly illiterate) foaming at the mouth? Your Kenya reference sounds particularly racist as well.

ReplyI am an employee of CVS and have struggled with the decision to submit to their "testing". I think the whole brouhaha might have been avoided if the corporate brains would have worded this differently. Instead of a penalty for non-compliance, how about saying that you're getting a "discount" for complying? Sounds much better to me, not a thinly veiled threat.

As usual, I tend to agree with you on this. Scare tactics have given insurance companies a virtual carte blanche to do whatever they want with their rates. Blame the insurance companies, not the law. I see everyday in my job, how insurance companies charge more and more in premiums, but continue to say "medication not covered" at an alarmingly increasing rate.

"My bank has never lied to me. My insurance company has never lied to me." Really??? How would you know if they did? So you are saying you trust big business more than the government? Oh my...

But the government IS involved in marriage...it's a civil and legal contract. It is why you have to have a LICENSE, you see. You and everyone else against marriage equality are confusing "holy matrimony" (religious ceremony) with "marriage" (civil ceremony). Even if I was interested in marrying a man, I wouldn't care about the blessing of your particular religion, which is irrelevant to me. The issue is about the civil ceremony of marriage, with all its associated rights and benefits. You can keep all your "tradition" and "truth" in your own church, and away from my wedding, thank you very much.
