Families having fun hosting French students.

Here are pictures of families having fun! They hosted World Exchange French students for a couples of weeks in the summer.

Use this summer to learn something new.  It can be a family affair!

World Exchange is a non-profit international exchange organization, founded in 1985. Its looking to place french children with fun Cleveland area families for a couple of weeks.

My family has been hosting French students for more than 10 years and they really enjoy it.  They have had such a great time with the students who have stayed with them ... that they're hosting again this summer.

My aunt "Jill Werling Quinn" is a married Avon Lake soccer mom with two teenagers.  Every summer her children make new exciting friends by welcoming a French child to stay with them for a couple of weeks.  They feel so strongly about it, that they're looking for others families to host French students too.

Jill says, "My husband and I have been hosting the kids from France for 14 years and we love it. We don’t speak French, but still don’t have a problem communicating.  We take the students to the lake... We BBQ ... do simple everyday things and they have a blast."

Jill is now organizing international student visits for non-profit World
Exchange, (www.worldexchange.org), in the Cleveland area.  She has 25 teens that she is looking to place.  It would be one French child per house.

Jill says, "I understand the apprehension some folks may have, but I would love the opportunity to talk to anyone interested or anyone who just has questions about the process. It's been a great experience for my family and I know other families would feel the same way."
