Join the Hooked! Knitting And Crochet Club

Adults and teens, join Hooked!, a knitting and crochet club which is a community group of knitters and crocheters who meet on the first and second Friday of each month at the Avon Branch Library.  The next meeting will be, Friday, Sept. 7 at 11 a.m. Beginners and those with experience are all welcome to bring a current yarn project to work on, share ideas and help each other learn the basics or something new. Periodically, guest presenters will share instructions for special projects. Preregistration is required by calling the Avon Branch Library at 440-934-4743

 Day Of The Child Celebration

Bring the family to a celebration that brings together children, books, languages and cultures at the Avon Branch Library. Come to the Day of the Child Celebration, Saturday, Sept. 8 at 2 p.m.  Children will listen to stories and songs from around the world as well as make a fun craft.
