April is National Glass month. "The Glass Studio" a stained glass and mosaic art studio will be open to the public in Avon Lake. Sunday April 10th and Monday April 11th from 1-4pm. The artist Judy Kean welcomes scout leaders , home schoolers, teachers, artists, students, neighbors and the public to view the studio. Come and experience an active stained glass studio. Anyone wanting to bring in a group of more than four please call ahead with total # of visitors.
Judy welcomes realtors, builders, interior designers and architects to help provide custom Art Glass for there clients.
Judy Kean is a full time artist with over 26 years experience. Judy is known for her public art at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame museum with her mosaic guitars. She teaches in her studio and Lorain Community College, exhibits at galleries and juried art shows, designs and fabricates commissions for clients and does repair. An active member of the American Glass Guild and continues her education with workshops with masters.
